This was the perfect solution to the wifi issue for tourists. It was very agile and well functioning.

My wifi router was waiting at the airport post office for me and worked perfectly my entire time in Japan. The unit made it through about 3/4 of a day of constant use, but the included battery pack mean that I never had to worry about it dying on me when I needed it. Service was pretty fast- I was using it primarily for directions, social media, or search engines. I think I even got a little spoiled by always having my network with me. Return was also easy-- just dropped it off at the post box by the departures gate, and Japan Wireless confirmed the return within a day. Very happy with this service, and I will definitely rent from Japan Wireless again if I return to Japan.

Perfect wireless service in Japan!
We pre ordered in Canada and from the easy pickup at Narita airport to the drop off , everything was excellent and a lifesafer to travel in Japan. If you use it all a day like we did (walked around 15km per day) at one point the battery will run low and the extra battery was not really charging much. But we managed. The only thing I would improve is a better extra battery to charge . Safe travels!
