Japan Wireless pocket wifi (business) was more than adequate for our needs. Internet service was available for most areas/cities/regions we went to. Hakone was intermittent, especially in the higher elevations (but that was expected). Otherwise, no complaints.

We only use it for web access and occasional YouTube. I will say it provided faster Internet than one of my hotels I stayed in. The premium pocket wifi may have provided even faster speed but we didn't need it.

They also shipped the pocket wifi to my destination hotel, which made it convenient.

Highly recommend Japan Wireless.

Our pocket wifi kept us connected for the entirety of our trip. It was even fast enough for me to watch a Pacific League playoff game on the train. Returning it was easy. This will be our go to internet method on future trips.

It was easy to use. They also delivered it to my hotel and when I checked in, it was waiting for me. Drop off was a breeze too. You just needed to drop it off at the airport in a box.

It was very easy to connect, and the speed was good. the package included everything we needed including the return label. The only difficulty for us was picking up. We ordered a pick up in the airport, but our flight from Frankfurt arrived to the other terminal. So,we had to take a bus from the other terminal which costs us time and energy after a very long flight.

As we sat at the airport, leaving for Japan, we decided to get a pocket WiFi.
Japan wireless honored our order and even refunded 1 days rental fee since the delivery would be the following day.
The pocket WiFi was a tremendous help and we’re glad we rented it!
