A good alternative to the portable WiFi hotspot, this Data SIM worked like a charm for our 30 day stay. We had no problems with getting our phones working as a hotspot too and found the data allowance to be ideal for everything you want when away.

I used it for almost a month. Worked very well. I am a heavy user, and the unlimited data was great for me. The only thing I did not like: I did not succeed to opetate the hotspot. I sent a message on messenger, but did not get a response. If hotspot is not crucial for you - get the Japan-wireless sim.

I booked to pick up the SIM from Sapporo Airport at the Post Office. Instructions were in English on how to adjust settings, turned off/ turned on and never had a problem with coverage whether on train , in tunnels or wherever we visited in Japan. Would use again without hesitation

If you’re travelling on your own, this is an absolute must if you’re wanting to stay connected. By far the best investment I made for my trip and super easy to arrange! Picked up from Kansai airport and no issues with it whatsoever. Could not recommend more!

Excellent SIM Data Card!!

Simple process to book and pay for the SIM card. Was delivered to my hotel as promised. Apart from putting the SIM card in the phone, no further set up requires. Worked perfectly all around Japan.

This SIM card worked fine. 30 days and 15gb was ideal for our holiday. We picked the SIM card up at Japan Post on arrival at KIX airport. We ordered 6 for our group. They all worked straight away.

Went with the cheap data only option (SIM card). Worked very well and much stronger signal than other products that I have used in Japan. More convenient than the mobile hotspot devices as no need for additional chargers and no need to remember to post everything back at end of trip. Will use again.
