The pocket wifi was indispensable for our Japan trip. Used it to navigate and translate. Very reliable.

We were a group of 4 using the wifi during our 4 day trip. Thankfully, we used this service because the wifi in our hotel was not working. There were places where the wifi wasn't as strong but connectivity was present for the most part. The power bank that came with it unusually drained without being used when we were at Mt Fuji. It is a good thing that I brought a spare one. This service is definitely very useful when you are traveling as a group and only need internet data to go around.

Very easy to reserve online. Picked up in the airport when I arrived. Prepackaged with all the essentials (charger, cable, power bank, pouch bag, instructions, return envelop). Easy and convenient drop off to a mail box to return when you leave. Reasonable price for the amount of data and speed offered.

I don't have any issue when rental this for 5 days trip in Tokyo...Very recommended internet service.

They give you a detailed map on where to pickup. The instructions inside are so easy to follow, and the device is small enough to put in your day bag as your explore Japan. You can link up multiple devices and people! Then drop off is super easy, as there is a glaring red mail drop off thing right before you check into your flight at the airport. So easy!

Overall it was a great experience, the device was efficient and easy to use, the battery ran very quickly this time and the cable was a bit loose but nothing too major.

The device worked well in most areas and the speed was great and I was able to use it the way I wanted to. I will say that if you have a GoPro and are looking to upload footage to cloud using the pocket wifi, you can do this and the speed is relatively good, but just remember to register the wifi connection on your phone through the quik app or else the videos won't upload. I would recommend and would rent a Japan wireless pocket wifi again.
