This was my second trip to Japan, both visits I used the pocket wifi from Japan Wireless. The pricing is competitive to others. Provided instructions were easy to understand and the provided back up battery makes it so you have wifi at all times throughout the day. I will be using Japan wireless when I plan my 3rd trip to Japan. Pickup was easy and drop off even easier.

Had a tiny lack of wifi in a remote area of Kumamoto, but other than that - very very good battery life and support in accessing internet from Japan Wireless throughout Japan!

We ordered the pocket WIFI online and it was delivered to our hotel without any delays. Signal is great around Tokyo, Kyoto and Nara. We experienced slow internet when we are in our hotel at Kita Ward, Osaka though generally in all other areas, WIFI signal is good. Battery lasted until evening. Complimentary power bank is nice to have.
