Had this unit for a month always had a signal wherever we were in Western Honshu and Shikoku. Simple to set up, shared by 4 people no issue with speed, excellent value .

I have rented the Premium WiFi (187 mbps from April 4 - 10th of 2019. I didn’t have any problems with WiFi Connect anywhere in Hokkaido Japan. I would definitely recommend to rent it, you will not be disappointed. Renting from Japan Wireless was and will be my go to where ever I may need connection. 100% satisfaction with pick up and return of device.

We hired the portable system for a recent two week trip round Japan. It was brilliant! Always had WiFi and was super quick - would definitely recommend!

The pocket WIFI from Japan Wireless worked absolutely everywhere we travelled, even in the snowy alps, cannot fault it. Not only did the device perform brilliantly, the customer service did too. Our charger stopped working and within a couple hours of contacting customer support they had arranged a replacement to be delivered to the hotel which arrived the same day. Would definitely recommend and will use again next time we are back.

The wifi was available consistently in all the places I traveled, including in the mountains around Hakone.
The battery life is good and you can last the full day with the additional charger.

Had this for 4 weeks and it has served us well. Almost always had network access, even in rural places. Nice speed, streaming from two devices has been no issue. Battery almost covers an entire day but luckily they provide an extra powerbank.

This has been a great device. I was able to use both my laptop and phone and have access to the internet on the go. The price is fair and reasonable.

I am very happy with the Japan Wireless. It was delivered to my hotel promptly with a return address envelope I could return it in. The router was fully reliable and it had a back up battery (although I didn't need it). I would rent it in a future trip to Japan, it saved me money as a tourist.
