This little thing really makes life easy in Japan for foreigners. The whole family can join to it so while I was checking google maps to find out which underground to take next, my wife could talk to her company back home and the kids never got bored as all their online life was available everywhere. It even comes with an extra power bank which is handy fot those long touristy days. Receiving it took 2 minutes at the airport post office and returning it is even easier, just drop it into a post box in the envelope provided.

We rented out the pocket wifi for our week long trip in Japan for the purposes of having wifi on-the-go, and to avoid those daily data roam fees from our phone company. Great, user-friendly device and very convenient to have. It gave us access to speedy wifi on the go. Although, I would’ve hoped that the device itself had a longer battery life. I found that the battery did not last very long throughout the day. The kit came with a portable charger however, we still had to end up using our own as it had a much longer battery life. Overall, I highly recommend renting one out. Saves you some money!

Very convenient and easy to use. First time to try portable wifi in Japan, no complaints. The signal never falter and the battery life is quite long even with the cold weather.

Worked very well. Got me entertained between the long rides between festival sites. Good idea about ordering before arriving in Japan. It was waiting for me when I checked in. I will definitely utilize this pocket WiFi when I'm back in Japan.
