Strong signal and good service

So glad I got this hotspot! No problems with it. Coverage was great. Battery life was great. I didn’t even have to use the back up battery that was included. Will definitely get again when I’m in Japan.

Fast and hassle free

Super easy to use, got good coverage in all the cities I visited. Battery life was fair, could go 3/4 of a day on its own battery before using the portable battery (included). Price was decent. One small issue was that the USB-C adapter cable provided did not work and I had to use my own one. Other than that, all was good.

Very reliable internet access!

Pick-up and drop-off were both very smooth and hassle-free. I love that you just have to drop it off in a mailbox (although finding the mailbox in Haneda's check-in terminal was a challenge). The unit itself has a nice and small size that can easily fit in your pocket or a bag, and it's easy and intuitive to operate. The WiFi it delivers was plenty for the two devices we had connected to it, and the range is also decent. The only problem we had was that the connection would freeze up sometimes when we were both streaming Netflix on our devices, but it was easily resolved either by just waiting a bit or rebooting the WiFi unit. It never happened while we where out, using it for googling or maps, though, so I can't fault it too much for that. All in all a good product with a good price tag.

The service was excellent, picking up and returning was very easy and simple. The unit itself was adequate for my needs of navigating throughout my trip. Reception cuts out underground so be prepared when using maps in the subway. Initiate your trip before heading into the subway.
