My only worry was losing anything that came with it, but that wasn’t an issue at all. It was very convenient. It was small enough to fit in my purse. It worked in every city we went too, even on the bullet train we took. I shared it with one other person and we both had a good connection for the whole trip. A lot of places in Japan have wifi like hotels, restaurants, and the trains, but if you’re doing a lot of walking (you will) it’s good to have it. The battery lasted all day and you need to charge it once a day. It never died on me once, my cousin and I were on top of keeping it charged everyday. Pick up was easy, I just showed the confirmation email at the kiosk in the airport and it was handed to me. It came with easy directions. When I returned it, I asked someone for directions to the post office at the airport, walked in, and the worker handled the rest. Japan in general is a very easy going place and everything, like this WiFi, was a very easy process.

I rented a pocket WiFi from Japan Wireless during my visit to Japan this month and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. The device was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived!
