I traveled around Japan for three weeks: the signal reception was always excellent and made me feel at ease (it's really important to always have an internet connection, especially when you're away!). The battery lasted all day and was delivered fully charged.
Picking up the pocket wifi, as well as returning it, was quick and easy. When I return to Japan, I'll be happy to use them again.

Easy to use. Worked as advertised. Battery was included and helpful, charger cable was short. Bring your own USB-C cable . Easy to return. There is even a post office in Narita.

Delivered right to my hotel within 24hrs and I had service everywhere in Japan, including Okinawa and surrounding remote islands. Dropped off at the airport before my flight out. Very affordable and convenient compared to the service options provided by my provider (ATT) in the US.

Me and my family had fast internet access outside. For downloading apps etc we had to use hotel wifi due to data amount restrictions by Japan Wireless.

For the router itself - just great! Small, good battery life, no heat development and easy to use.
