Picked up SIM at Narita counter as instructed. Popped it in my iPhone and worked with no drama. Definitely a must have to navigate Tokyo as a tourist.

The whole process from ordering the SIM to inserting it and using it was so simple, I had no problems. I also liked that my SIM was waiting for me at my hotel when I arrived, stress free!

Several weeks before our Osaka - Japan holiday, we made an on-line purchase for two, 7 day physical data-only SIMs for use in an iPhone SE3 and Google Pixel 3XL. Total cost including delivery to our Osaka hotel was $54 AUD (32 Euro).

During hotel check-in, we were handed our ordered SIMs package that included detailed iOS & Android installation instructions AND a SIM removal tool. Excellent service! iPhone SE3 setup was a breeze while the Google Pixel 3XL required a few additional setup steps. (Hint: Follow the supplied detailed instructions, precisely!)

For the next seven days we used our phones for navigating (via Google / Apple maps) the Osaka rail network, trip planning & trip progress monitoring, walking navigation thru the city & countryside, emailing, translations and mobile-to-mobile communications (Google Meet) when we became separated. 4G signal strength was a constant 4/5 on trains (above & below ground). It was so good that after a few days I stopped checking... the big reception surprise was the vast underground Osaka Namba train station network, 4G signal was always excellent.

Before departing Osaka we re-installed our Australian SIMs. Switching on our phones back in Sydney was seamless; no setups required. They worked like they'd never left the country! When next we travel to Japan, we'll be using Japan Wireless again,
