This was a great product. Got WiFi during 1,5 week stay in Japan. It worked well at all times and everywhere. I will definitely use this on my next stay in Japan, too.

I rented the WiFi device from Japan Wireless and and I am so happy that I did. I couldn't imagine trying to find my way around without the WiFi. It provided a fast reliable service with heaps of download. Although Japan does have free WiFi in most cities, we couldn't seem to stay connected for long (for those who didn't have their own WiFi) and you need to download the apps to be able to use it.

The only issue I had was that the provided battery failed and I had to use my own to charge the WiFi device. Also, if several people are connected it goes flat very fast. So take your own spare battery... just in case. Very Happy! Thank you Japan WiFi, I will use you again when I am next in Japan.

I ordered my pocket wifi on the flight to Tokyo and was able to pick it up at the airport when I arrived. (I’d recommend ordering a little earlier than that if you can though!) It worked consistently with a fast reliable connection in urban areas, and was mostly reliable in rural areas as well (though there was the occasional dead zone in mountainous areas, which was to be expected). I intend to order pocket wifi from Japan Wireless again on my next trip to Japan.

I was extremely happy with this wi fi. I was a bit concerned before leaving Australia for Japan that it might be difficult to set up. But no, the directions in the parcel made it very easy. I had no problems setting it up and had great reception throughout our travels in Japan. We did a combination of our own touring & then a cruise. Of course, it didnt work once our cruise ship was sailing out of range of the land, but whilst in sight of the shore or when wandering around the different stops, it was terrific. The battery lasted the day for me, but on one day i used a lot of Google maps, so did use the extra battery provided then. Everything fitted easily into my handbag & wasn't heavy. We had it delivered to our hotel, so it was there waiting for us when we arrived. And simply posting it back in a mail box, prior to leaving for the airport, made its return very easy. I would thoroughly recommend this product, if you are looking for wifi in Japan. Thanks for the great service!

The whole process was seamless. The battery lasted us throughout a full day of travel before needing to be recharged. 100% recommend.

Item arrived when they said it would. It was was well packaged and very easy to setup. The pocket work exceptionally well in all locations. Highly recommend will use it again next time.
