Really straightforward and convenient. No issues with connection at all. Charge lasted all day each day and we never needed to use the portable charger supplied. Would have no hesitation in renting the same in future.

Simple pick up at the airport, easy to set up. Worked almost everywhere.
Battery life not too bad, needed to be charged daily with a top up during the day to keep it going.
Needed to be restarted a few times to reset the signal.
Used from Tokyo to Okinawa without any issues.

Rented a premium WiFi as usual. Picked up at NRT T1 @ JAL/JTB ? Counter in the morning. Travelled with an adult child and a teenager who have been constantly on WiFi for connecting to friends, family members and searching for travel info. It worked well. Returning by dropping off in a pre addressed padded envelope on the morning of our departure {from NRT T1} is very convenient. One thing I question and thought that partial insurance costs for loss is inflated above the market value of pocket WiFi units.

Using the wireless device enabled to continue to provide service to my clients while I was visiting Japan. It worked quite well with only a few dropped connections. I would recommend this to anyone for whom a reliable connection is needed.
