I rented a pocket wifi from Japan wireless for a two-week trip around Japan. They really made it easy, from delivering the pocket wifi, charger, cables, and case to my hotel, to including a return, postage paid envelope for return. And their web-site showed me exactly where the mail boxes at the airport are located, with a reminder to mail it before going through security. Only once did I not have wifi service for a very short time while travelling on the bullet train. I would use them again.

Ordered the pocket wifi through Japan Wireless online quite last minute, but received the unit earlier then expected. Unit came with power bank and both the unit and power bank more then allowed me to use it for entire day. Speeds were good and fine for use between 4 people and had no issues with it. This is my 2nd time using Japan wireless and will be using them the next time I am in Japan.

Glad I reserved from JW since our flight was delayed and our pick up at JALABC was the only portable WiFi place open. Set up was easy and 5 people were able to use it. Return was also a simple process. Would definitely use again.

We decided to rent this little thing because my husband needed to keep up with work and we didn’t know if an e-SIM would be enough. This was great, it allowed both of us to be connected everywhere, we had good speeds and never experienced any throttle. Worked like a charm and I would totally use it again. 100% recommended.

We’ve used Japan Wireless for a 3 weeks tour in Japan. Maps, translate and several socials were constantly on air. In the evening I uploaded my edited photo’s to several cloud services. Never do we had to recharge the mobile wifi before the end of the day. We both used the mobile wifi with iPhone and Android phones plus 2 iPads. Highly recommended!

Used for travel in between & in 4 cities during 2 weeks vacation in Japan. Shared with 1 other user. Good coverage throughout and long battery life. Used with mobile phones worked seamlessly for maps internet, whatsapp etc.

I reserved two pocket wi-fi devices (one for my wife and one for myself) that were great to have while in Japan. The only small problem with my device was that it lost the internet connection temporarily three times over the 10 days we were there. Also, to me the setup instructions were confusing, but was actually pretty easy once I decided to try using the QR code. Regardless, i would gladly use Japan-Wireless if we ever travel to Japan again.
