everything worked like a charm. It was easy to use and return.

We traveled in cities, in towns, and in the mountains (along the rather remote Komodo Kodo), and the Premium WiFi worked everywhere for us! Battery backup was especially helpful on longer days out and about. This was also the most economical option I found that would work both in cities and the mountains. I'd highly suggest Japan Wireless!

Very happy with the service - but could never get more than 20 Mbps when running speed tests. Didnt need the speed so all good!

Japan Wireless' Premium WiFi unit had really helped during my time in Japan. Travelling with a group of 4 people, this WiFi helped us navigate the streets of Tokyo, shrines of Kyoto, and through various restaurants in Osaka.

The battery life was exceptional, and the provided additional battery unit really helped it last throughout the day, and well into the late night!

Speeds were outstanding! Especially in comparison to my previous experience renting WiFi units across Asia, this unit had the best reception (never lost signal) and the speeds were top-notch (1080P YouTube videos while on the Shinkansen to Osaka with no stutter),

While there were some problems when picking up the unit from the Narita Airport post-office, Japan Wireless had been in constant communications with me via email. Emails to their customer service department had been responded to within 10-30 minutes, really fast.

When we couldn't find our rental unit ready for us at the post-office, they had sent a customer service representative to our AirBnB to deliver our package the SAME night we landed (this was within 3 hours of arrival and at midnight). Hands down, the most exceptional customer service I've ever had. We were thrilled when we saw the rep waiting for us at our door. We can't thank Japan Wireless enough.

Additionally, our party was very late for our departure flight, and had mistakenly taken our WiFi unit with us back home to Canada. Japan Wireless was very understanding and have provided instructions to us on how and where to ship the WiFi unit. Really smooth process!

All in all, I would recommend this WiFi unit - and choose Japan Wireless to anyone looking to visit Japan. On my return trip next year I will definitely be using Japan Wireless for all my WiFi needs. A+ across the board.

We used the pocket wifi recently on our trip to Japan for 8 days. It was easy to pick up from the post office at the airport. It lasted all day - we never had to use the back up power bank. The wifi was fast and worked in every area. If we were to go back we would definitely get it again.

Nothing cons. The device works excellent, in Tokyo (underground too - Metro) and outside Tokyo. Very good quality signal, very good speed and not any jam. Smooth in every way, including WhatsApp video call, YouTube. Strongly recommend.

The wifi pocket is perfect. We were 3 people using it and when we went out of battery we used the portable Charger that came with the router. We had signal everywhere. I recommend it.

Great to have full 24 hour Wi-Fi access works great I've had to reboot it twice I think it disconnects when I run out of power. Best to keep it plugged in overnight usually last about 12 hours during the day access has been great everywhere from Tokyo to Toyama
