I had a great experience using this device. Battery lasted very long and if it ran out the battery pack was enough for the rest of the day. Never lost signal only underground but that is honestly not a deal breaker to me. Dropping it off was quick and super easy! Definitely recommend!

Free Wi-Fi is becoming more prevalent in Japan but it's still incredibly useful to have pocket Wi-Fi on hand at any time, especially if you have kids or multiple devices they need access. Cheap, easy pickup, and easy drop off at the airport.

Very responsive customer service. Challenges with wifi for work video mtgs but uncertain it was due to device. No trouble streaming.

The portable wifi worked perfectly in every area I visited in Japan. Battery life, perfect. I charged every night when I got back to my hotel. I didn’t bother to connect to the hotel wifi. I will definitely recommend.

My phone is not unlocked so the portable wifi was the best option instead of an eSim. The pocket wifi worked for my 3 week trip to Japan traveling from Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hakone with very little to no issues! I got the unlimited premium and it was very affordable.

My flight came in after hours so I had them ship to my first hotel. It was given to me upon checking in. Battery lasted all day, with me using the wifi majority of the day. I did charge it every night and the few times I forgot to charge it, the extra battery pack it came with was sufficient to charge it until I was able to get it plugged in. The device was small and easy to keep in my purse. There were a few times I had to refresh the network when going to another city. I also lost connection once or twice in Shinjuku when taking a specific JR line underground. I suggest you screenshot your destination to get off the train. Luckily this caused no issues for me since I remembered the stop I needed to get off on and the connection would come back immediately upon leaving the train.

The portable wifi came with a bag, easy to follow instructions, plug box, cord, extra battery, and a prepaid return envelope. All I had to do was follow the instructions they emailed me a few days before my flight home which included accurate maps for each floor of Narita airport and circled all the possible Japan Post boxes that it can be dropped into at each floor.

100% will be using this service again in the future!
