High data speeds when we connected both mobile phones. Great option if using multiple devices. Keep power bank charged as you will need it if using the modem all day. We had another powerbank for the phones which was useful. Easy pick up, setup and drop off. Would recommend and would use again.

Easy yo set up and long enough battery life for long days of sightseeing. Worked well in the Metro/Shinkansen and buses.

I had already a pocket wifi last year and decided to rent one again this year. The connection was still good but a few days we had some issues that were promptly solved. the tecnichal support very fast with reply. I reccomend the product

Le pocket Wi-Fi s'est révélé la solution la plus économique pour notre voyage à 4 au Japon. Dès gares de Tokyo au stations de métro d'Osaka, en passant par les champs de thé d'Uji et les hauteurs du Mont Misen sur l'île Itsukujima (Enoshima), nous avons toujours pu compter sur le réseau Internet du Pocket Wi-Fi.
La récupération dès notre arrivée à l'aéroport et son retour après usage ont été des plus simples.
Pour faire court nous nous sommes toujours sentis rassurés et libres de consulter nos outils Web utiles en déplacement.
La batterie de secours s'est révélée utile en deux occasions, mais nous faisions attention à l'éteindre si possible. Une plus grosse batterie d'origine rassurerait un peu pour les longues journées, mais nos téléphones se déchargeaient aussi vite...

Good overall. Sometimes it would turn off for no reason and I would have to turn it back on. Aside from. That it was good.

Honestly your cell phone international plans don't have the same fast connectivity that a Japan Wireless mobile WiFi does. Make sure you get one during your Japan travels. The daily rate is likely cheaper than your daily international plan.
