The pick up and drop off was smooth and easy. The WiFi coverage was great atleast in Tokyo area. WiFi worked flawlessly and did not drop a single time.

We collected the Wi-Fi unit from Narita Post Office with no trouble - well packaged, well described, and no wait after a long and tiring flight. Worked well consistently apart from having to reset once mid-way through our 18 days. Simple drop-off at airport was conveniently located near to departure check-in area. Would thoroughly recommend to other visitors to Japan, as the best alternative to free Wi-Fi, which is hit-and-miss, not always reliable, and mostly insecure.

This is my second or third time using this device in Japan, and it works well (I'm about to order one again for an upcoming trip in a few weeks.) I don't think I've ever seen anything close to the claimed 187 Mbps, but it's worked well for me all over the Tokyo area, in Osaka, in Fukushima and Aizuwakamatsu, and almost all points in between. Definitely a worthwhile investment!

Only issue is, I had no idea what the messages were about since it was in Japanese
