Do yourself a favor and rent this before you go to Japan. It is a game changer !

Great wifi tool .. easy to use and lasted all day turned on with 3 4 devices hooked up to it. Every place we visited, the wifi worked. Two thumbs up.

This was a great solution for our 2-week trip to Japan. Easy pick-up and drop-off at the post office in Narita Airport. Worked well all trip - made it really easy to work with Google maps to find places we were trying to get to and check out reviews on local restaurants! Highly recommend! The only issue was the external battery that was provided didn't hold a charge for as long as I'd like, but I was already carrying my own for the trip that had a super long life, so just used that instead.

Had a package with the device waiting at the hotel in Tokyo when we arrived. Dropped it in the mailbox (in its prepaid envelope) at the airport in Osaka when we left. Network speeds were great almost everywhere, even on the subway. Had the whole family use the same hotspot. Highly recommended.

The experience was just great. Easy pickup at airport. Extra battery and charge cable included. Excellent WiFi service at all times. Easy return at airport.

After travelling in Japan for many years trying a few different suppliers of Wi-Fi devices I only use Japan Wireless these days. They deliver on time, always up to date equipment, easy handling, up to 10 different devices to hook up, and almost 100% coverage. Had no issues. Delivered to hotel. Worked wherever I went and hotel returned it in envelope provided.

The device was waiting for us at our first hotel and worked wonderfully. The battery lasted about 8-10 hours each day. We never had any issues while using it with two devices. This was a perfect for the two devices (cell phones) we used it for.
