Excellent coverage, primarily used in Tokyo only, but no issues with day trip to Hakone. Came with power bank which was very thoughtful but didn’t need it even with heavy use throughout the day. Easy pick up and return. Will use again on any return trips to Japan.

I had no problems with my pocket wifi my entire 3 week trip, which went from Tokyo to Sapporo, to Hakuba, Kyoto, and Osaka. Pick-up and drop off were no issue either. Overall, I was very happy with the experience.

Best decision to get Japan Wireless hot spot. Easy pickup and my hotel was kind enough to mail it back. My family and I had no issues while traveling the "Golden Route." I will definitely use again on my next visit to Japan.

This is a great wifi option for travellers who have multiple devices. Pick up and drop off were super easy and the dongle itself is small enough to fit in a jacket pocket or handbag. I took mine skiing everyday too. I would highly recommend.

I am a repeat customer. I've used Japan Wireless' portable Wi-Fi hotspot several times when in Japan. I used it again two weeks ago when I was in Tokyo. I picked up the device from the airport when I arrived. It was fully charged and ready to go. It worked well, and it had good coverage. The battery lasted all day. The only drawback was the extra battery that came with it. It did not provide much backup power, and the included charge cord was a little loose. But since the device's battery was so good, I didn't really need the extra battery pack. Return was also easy. I put everything back into the envelop that was provided, and dropped it off in a post box after I checkout of my hotel. I recommend Japan Wireless to anyone who visits Japan.

WiFi was fast for the most part. had some connectivity issues in the subway but overall very good. wifi lasted us the whole day and i didn’t need to worry about the battery.
