Worked perfectly. Easy to return.

The portable WiFi device was already charged and worked immediately. I never had a problem using it. It was especially valuable after I used up the data allotment that my US based T mobile phone had in Japan. Keep the device charged. There’s no excuse for running out of charge because a portable charger comes with the WiFi device. Be advised, in city areas with overhead steel canopies like Teramachi-dori in Kyoto, the GPS on your phone may not work properly.

The whole process was simple, the product was efficient and easy to use.

It was great to have with our group on our trip to Japan. Great battery life.

For the most part it did very well, but it did get a little hot at times and battery life started to deplete quickly. Good thing it came with a external battery pack.

On our recent two week to Japan, the wifi was essential for traveling around the country. It even worked in the remote Kii Peninsula while hiking the Kumano Kodo. Unfortunately the power adapter was not working correctly and it took several days of troubleshooting to figure out the problem, since the device was not charging. Their reply to my question about the device not charging should have included some information about this issue. Once I started using my other power adapters from iPhone/iPad the wifi and backup power battery charged w/o any issues. Picking up the package and dropping it out was easy, as was setting it up. So overall it was great except for the charging problem. Having the extra power source was also extremely helpful. So if your device is not charging, try another brick!

Easy to pick up on arrival and simple to return in a post box. Had consistent good coverage throughout Japan. The device is small and easy to carry. Would recommend.
