This little device was so handy during our trip to Japan. We were able to plan every step at all times. Will have to check if this is available in other countries.

I went to Japan for 2 weeks, I ordered the WiFi to be delivered to a post office in Osaka, I have never done anything like this before but it’s super easy to pick up once you get there even if you speak hardly any Japanese, once we got the unit we had no problems at all, totally unlimited too so no fears of running out.

If you are apprehensive about using japan wireless like I was rest assured they are completely reliable :)

We hired one for 2 weeks travelling around japan, it was worth every penny. I highly recommend getting one. It never let us down, even in remote rural areas. It was so easy to use. We charged at night and using the extra battery towards the end of the day we basically never turned it off. We didn't even bother using hotel wifi. We also found the portable battery really handy to top up our phone batteries. The pocket wifi was waiting for us at our first hotel and I posted it back at Narita airport just before going through security. FLAWLESS SERVICE and an ESSENTIAL travel accesory!

We had the portable Wi-Fi unit for 12 days. No problems, easy to set up and connect. Just drop it in a mail box at the end of your trip.

I used every day of my travel and for all day. Internet worked perfectly everywhere inside buildings, on trains ( shinkansen also) . I will sure rent for next travel.

2 weeks nearly 80gb of data used, good for maps and Pokémon hunting. The device was waiting at the motel, super easy to set-up, the family had 6 devices, unlimited data with no speed throttling, return via post at airport was super convenient. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.
