A great system - easy to book, collect and use. It was fantastic- we'd use Japan Wireless again rather than fuss with eSims!

Very easy to order. Device was waiting for us at our hotel when we reached Japan. Instructions were clear on how to operate the device. Simple instructions on how to return the device with convenient postage paid return envelope.

Getting the pocket wifi, setting it, using it and dropping in post box was super easy. Helped reduced uncertainty of going to a new place. Family of 4 used it and were actively using for streaming.

I rent a unit and it worked well. There's a lot of available public WiFi in Japan, but nothing beats using your own when you are using Maps on the street or wandering through a small town. Also liked no mucking about with SIM cards and supporting multiple devices on one unit.

This wi-fi device worked great with my eSIM locked iPhone. Service was reliable except for a 20 minute stretch on the Tokyo to Kyoto Shinkansen. It can burn through battery quickly if you're streaming though, so be sure to pack an additional battery besides the one they give you. I will definitely use this again next time I go to Japan.

We’ve been to Japan a couple of times, and both times we’ve used this pocket WiFi. Without it, our trips would’ve been way more stressful. Easily picked it up at the airport and returned it to the post box on our way headed to security. If your phone plan doesn’t have reasonable rates for international WiFi, use this! The price is right, and the need for WiFi is real… figuring out train schedules and where to walk is a part of this travel. So unless you speak the language or know the area well enough, I would recommend this WiFi.
