I always get a pocket wifi because I can use Google maps and other apps freely, when and where I want. Japan wireless provides the mallet and instructions for ready return of equipment. Can't go wrong with Japan Wireless.

Very convenient for family and no areas in Japan with slow connection.

We were using that device for 14 days, more or less. And it has got enough Gb/day even watching some movies at night.
Sometimes we had to power on again, cos if you were not using it, it powers off itself.
And with the extra baterie you will have enough for more than 16 hours...
I´ll recommended it to everybody.

Japan wireless pocket WiFi was a perfect option for us. We’re from the US, so our phone wasn’t going to work in Japan.
