We’re a group of 3 and from the moment we picked it up from Kansai Airport, the connection was seamless! No dead spot. We were able to use it especially during train navigations. It’s in use since morning until night and the battery lasts long. They also have spare powerbanks just in case, but we barely used it because of the long battery life. We’re definitely booking this again on our next Japan travel.

We placed our order a week in advance and the WiFi pack was waiting at our hotel upon arrival. Really convenient, long battery life (we charged it every night) and no connection issues. We relied on our internet connection for maps and transit schedules and we weren’t disappointed. Would recommend Japan Wireless to anyone traveling around country who won’t otherwise have reliable WiFi.

This device is great, the battery holds for the whole day, and in case you have a very long day, you have the portable battery to give it a little charge, and of course you can plug it anywhere if you want. The connection works great, some network losses when we were in the middle of nowhere in the Shinkansen, but that's very normal. The only thing I would like to say negatively is that it tends to heat up quite quickly if you put it in a little bag. I put mine in a little bag on my chest and it was heating up very fast. Great device overall, no hesitation to have !
