I traveled from Tokyo to Sapporo to Jozankei to Yokohama and had incredible reception the entire time... I was quite surprised that there were barely any blackout zones, aside from a few extremely rural drives through the mountains, which is perfectly acceptable.
Not being techs I needed help setting up, and they were fast and helpful. I loved not having to fiddle with a gizmo and not taking my sim out. No negatives to say, I will be using an e sim a lot going abroad now 👏👏
