Good product but performance with good 4G signal very often has very low performance but i belive it’s a operator network problem when has to manage too much download requests.

Perfect to use on vacation. Worked like a charm.

Could not be easier. Ordered on line (from the States). Picked up at the airport (Narita). Connected instantly. Had two devices connected to it at all times throughout our 24 days of travel throughout southern Japan. Never experienced a low signal area. Between the pocket WiFi and our Suica Card, we were totally set.

We were really impressed with the WiFi unit for the entirety of our stay in Japan. It was easy to use and connected us from Tokyo to Kyoto to Nikko and helped us find our way with google maps. Would thoroughly recommend.

Used it every day for our 10-day trip. Always had strong signal no matter the time or location. Battery lasted even when we stayed out all day, but the extra battery was great security if we felt like it was getting low. Couldn’t have made it through our trip without it.

Very happy with the pocket wifi. We had it delivered to our hotel so it was there when we checked in which was awesome. The wifi connection was great for everywhere that we went (Tokyo Hakone Kyoto and Osaka). It does need to be recharged after approximately 8 or 9 hours of use but they provide a free power bank which is superb! Only thing was the interface was in Japanese and I had no idea how to change it to English. And also I was a little confused at the "unlimited" data bit because on the pocket wifi it had /7gb in one of the screens which confused me... not sure if it meant I only had 7gb even though when I ordered it said unlimited?
Overall it was a good product and provided me with great internet while I was travelling.

I reserved a wi-fi device at the last minute and Japan Wireless went out of their way to get it to my hotel quickly. The w-ifi worked perfectly throughout our trip. Will definitely use again.

After going over reviews I decided to use this product for my first trip to Japan. I was nervous I wouldn't work while down at the train stations but it did and thanks to it my family and I never got lost and always were connected. In total we were three people using the wifi at the same time. Never once we had to use the portable charge, but we greatly appreciated that it was there in case of emergency. I would definitely using this service for future trips to Japan.

Rent the device for 16 days
