We rented the premium WiFi device during our recent three week trip through Japan. The device was delivered to our hotel on arrival and was a breeze to set up. The rental included a charging cord and a back up battery. We used the device throughout our travels and enjoyed solid reception in every location including the Japanese Alps. Having the device enabled us to easily navigate the train and subway systems and use the translator app. It was easy to return the device with the prepaid mailing envelop at the airport before our departure.

This solution is the best way to have WiFi throughout Japan. Easy to collect at the airport, it works straight away and easy to return again. I use it every time I’m in Japan, on business trips

I choose to get my pack delivered at my hotel. It was waiting for me ready to be use. It comes with an external battery pack but I didn’t use it as the battery life of the device is already enough if you charge it every night. The internet speed is good enough but no match for a real 4g 200+ mb. Restitution was easy, just put everything back in the return envelope and leave it at the airport post office.
