The device was easy to use and the internet speed was good. We had a little problem at Japan Wireless with one of our devices, so it is better to be able to call JW customer center. They were very helpful although

I had a great experience using the pocket wifi. It worked everywhere we went and the battery lasted all day long given primarily maps and search usage.

The Wi-Fi box works fast and reliable, but carrying the box and the charger is quite heavy.
The charger should be lighter weight.

I am strongly recommend used the premium wi-fi. It’s pay a little more than business but it’s worthy. The battery get in hot sometime. But as soon it safe is ok.

Great service! Unit arrived just like they described in their website. We used the pocket wifi from Tokyo to Osaka without any issues. Return was simple and easy -- we found a mail box just outside our hotel. We'll order this again on our next trip to Japan!

Was recommended by friends. Very affordable and great connection in most places (even outside cities). The battery lasts most of the day, although due to the summer heat (september was unusually hot), the device gets very hot which caused battery life to be slightly shorter. The premium package does come with a powerbank though so rest assured, just don't forget it like I usually did.

Fast and trustworthy

El tener acceso a internet 24/7 hizo de nuestro viaje a Japón mucho más fácil. El proceso de renta del equipo fue facilísimo, el costo se me hizo más que justo. Lo recogimos en la T3 del aeropuerto de Narita, sólo tuvimos que subir un piso para llegar a la Post-Office, dimos el código que habíamos recibido y listo. Estaba cargado y desde ahí lo empezamos a utilizar. El servicio fue muy bueno, nos conectamos 4 personas y nunca lo hizo lento. Para regresarlo sólo hay que depositarlo en un buzón del servicio postal. Rentamos también el Traductor y la verdad no lo utilizamos nunca, ese no venía cargado y luego nunca nos dimos el tiempo de ver cómo utilizarlo, pero teniendo ya internet en nuestros teléfonos no fue necesario. Ojalá en todos los países fuera tan fácil, accesible y práctico la renta de este tipo de servicios.
