Excellent service and strong wifi signal all over Tokyo.

We couldn't make it without it. Very easy the pick up and the return. The lasting of the battery was excellent and we never had problems using the device. Strongly recommended to all the foreign visitors

I rented the pocket WiFi and translator and they both worked great. I chose to pick them up at the post office at the airport and it was super easy and convenient. They even corrected the terminal number after I ordered because they knew which one I’d be in and I chose the wrong one. The WiFi came with a portable battery that was perfect to get me through the longer full days with it on(though it’s still a good idea to have another of your own just in case I think). It was very compact which was nice. I had it in my backpack or coat pocket the whole time. The speed was great and I never had any slowdowns. The customer service was great as well and very responsive by email. It came with a pre-paid envelope to drop back off at the airport post office which worked perfect. Picking it up there let me stay in WiFi coverage to and from the airport. So easy to arrange, use, pick up and drop off. I was always able to pull up a map wherever I was since I had it with me so I never got lost. I’ll definitely use them again!

Easy purchase, pickup and dropoff

Had used Japan Wireless for my recent trip and mostly have been great. Only blip was a problem with the device that slows down the connection, but they sent a new device immediately. Would recommend it to anyone requiring wifi services in Japan.

My wife and I rented a wifi unit from Japan Wireless for our 10 day adventure in Tokyo and Osaka. We were pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and near flawless time we had. We ran into two issues the entire trip. Our connection died on us twice (once at universal studios and once at disney land, I assume because of the # of concurrent connections or perhaps just buildings blocking signals. Our back-up battery didn't seem to be working very well. I believe it may just have been older so it had a hard time keep a charge/distributing a charge. Neither of those issues were that big of a problem and we never had a connection issue otherwise including: on the bullet train, in the subway system, in Nara, in Osaka, or all-over Tokyo. Ultimately, I would highly recommend Japan Wireless and their system. I would just bring your own back-up battery anyways to be safe.

Good for subways and trains. Delivery service was excellent. Return procedure seamless and simple.
