The experience with the Wifi was excellent. Very good service coverage. Easy to set up. Reasonable battery life.

But ordering online is made hard by the date picker on the website. Tried 3 times and still got the end date wrong. Extension form only allows credit card payment (while original order form allowed Paypal).

Pick Up at Haneda Airport was very convenient. You can only return sending it pack by postal service using the supplied envelope. Post boxes are available at Haneda airport.

This was my second time to use Japan wireless. The pick up and drop off is absolutely seamless. The device is very easy to use in the signal. Strength was strong everywhere I went. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Japan.

Fantastic product, we used this portable wi-fi in Japan for 2 weeks. It is small, easy to use, has an extra charger so you never run out. It was delivered to our hotel and they included a return postage envelope. Highly recommend!

Plans and Data
• There are different plans available depending on your needs.
• I got the “Premium Wifi” for 7 days, it offers unlimited data at an affordable price.
• Internet speed is at 187Mbps and is very reliable. I have not experienced any down time regardless of moving from Osaka to Nara at different times of the day.

Battery Life
• Pretty good. I kept the pocket WiFi on for almost 12 – 18 hours a day and the battery life has barely reached 50%.

Weight
• Lightweight and would fit snuggly even in a small purse.

Usability and Shareability
• Can be connected to any device that allows WiFi connection.
• Can be used right away and shared with multiple devices.

Convenient
• Extremely convenient. I was able to rent a unit 24 hours before my flight [which not all WiFi rental services offer, most require at least 3 days before the actual flight].
• Despite the troubles caused by the sudden snow storm and fluctuating weather, the unit was delivered safely and completely to the hotel that I was staying at.
• English instructions were also easy to understand. It even included diagrams.
• The package itself was complete and covered almost every trouble you could or might encounter. It came with a pouch for easy storage, USB cable [in case you didn’t have the right type], socket/adapter and even a light weight power bank.
• Returning the unit is also pretty simple. A return envelope with the address already printed is provided, which you can drop off at any post box.

Though I had to carry the WiFi and charger all the time I was there, it did its work and did it well. Returning was also easy, it will be even better if there is a booth at airport.
