4G pocket wifi that was reliable most of the time, but not that much speed, but still ok for finding our way around and translate everything. I recommend if you are traveling with family and stay together most of the time. I still recommend buying a separate data SIM card that works better. But pocket wifi is the way to go with a family. We were 5 and it did the job 98% of the times.

I have used this product for a 2 weeks trip across most part of west Japan but also in Sapporo for 2 days. No problems at all, highly recommended.

Used during a 14 days' trip in Japan, it made my trip much easier. Having internet allowed me to find places on Google Maps, chat with friends at home, use the GPS in my rental car etc. Much better than any SIM card solution, since this WiFi box has no data limit. I strongly recommend it.

I have traveled a lot, and until now I had never used a pocket wifi. It has been an excellent experience, and has allowed me to have internet at all times at a reasonable price.

Having internet at all times has been important, especially to use Google Maps in a country with a very extensive but also complex public transport system.
