We used this product through Japan wireless for our recent 17day visit to Japan.
They delivered to our hotel for the day we arrived; product was easy to set up; battery lasted all day; pod was light enough to slip in a pocket/bag and forget about; coverage was excellent; price was about a quarter of what vodafone wanted to charge for data roaming from UK.
Once your break comes to an end, you simply post it back in a prepaid/supplied envelope.
Will definitely use this company again when we return to Japan.

The pocket WiFi was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived in Tokyo. It was simple to set up and didn’t fail us during our 26 days in Japan. Put it in the post box at Kansai airport as we left.

Despite recommendations, I did not plan ahead and setup a portable wifi rental. Two days into our 9 day trip, our phones were over the monthly expected use, causing them to go really slow. I went online and signed up with Japan Wireless and they delivered it to my hotel the next morning. It worked great in Tokyo, Osaka and the places in between. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and easier to return, just toss in the envelope and drop it in the mail on the way to the station. Works as advertised in a world where few things do.
