We used this product for 3 weeks as we toured from Fukuoka to Tokyo, and many places in between. We never had any problems. And since it came with a battery pack, we never lost a charge. Even though many places we stayed had wifi, our own pocket wifi was always more convenient. Returning was so easy. We're gong back to Japan later this year and I've already ordered my rental. Don't travel Japan without it :)

We are traveling all around Kyushu and have absolutely no connection problems. It‘s fast and reliable. Battery holds up to 15h. We are able to use ANY data service without any problem whatsoever (streaming movies/music, making videocalls, using maps and whatnot). Can only recommend!
