although user friendly, needed to turn off in the eve at bedtime otherwise it will heat up. I need mobile phone avail 24/7 so the router overheating at end of the day (whereby needing to turn off unit to cool down) made for evenings w/o contact.

A great little router with excellent speed. Used it for our 2 weeks in Japan and would do so again. Easy collection and drop off.

This was purchased for 10 day stay in Japan - travelling all over the southern part of Japan, including mountain areas of Kobe.
Carried in the pocket of my back pack, this provided problem-free access to the web for me and my partner. Connection was always good and a full overnight charge lasted all the next day.
I arranged for this to be delivered to our first hotel - it arrived on time and was in our hotel room ready for us.
Return process easy - dropped into a post box at Haneda airport.
No problems for initial ordering on the website in the UK to the drop off in Haneda airport.
Definitely recommended!

Very convenient and excellent WiFi everywhere

Worked reliably over 12 hours. Rating loses one star due to mobile battery, which only provided about 75% charge once before being depleted. Recommended, but bring another power bank
