Awesome service and time

This was a great device to carry around Japan. I never lost the signal regardless of where I was. The battery life is decent, but it helps to carry an extra battery pack to charge just in case. I will definitely rent one again the next time I’m in japan.

When I landed in Narita, picking up the mobile router was easy and seamless. But to my surprise, when I turned it on, I found out that it contained no SIM card which made me and my sister struggle before reaching our Airbnb. On the next morning, I visited the Ginza office of Japan Wireless at which I quickly received an exchanged router. The speed was great (although of course not close to the 187 mbps advertised) but the real benefit was the unlimited data, which I confirmed after several days of intense use by me and my sister (music streaming, YouTube, social media). So overall, I'm satisfied but I wish the issue I encountered when first receiving the router won't happen during my next trip to Japan.

No problems occured with the Japan Wireless Premium WiFi. Excellent connection anywhere, anyplace , anytime. Furthermore superb customer experience and support heen requirements.

This is very convenient device if you travel to very rural area where Wifi access is very limited. And stuff are very helpful if you need some help.

The quality of the wireless itself is excellent. No complain about that.
The pick up and the return also perfect.
However, the battery life of the device is not that good. Most of the time half a day worth of battery, good thing that they provide a power bank inside the package. Sometimes it is enough sometimes it is not.
Overall I would recommend this service to anyone who would travel to Japan and I will use the service again whenever I come to Japan again.
