Excellent product strong wifi in japan even fujisan area. Easy to use. My only critque is that can't return to same counter and mailing does no fit well into mailbox and added stress to find box- retape package when also catching international flight.

Easy to pick up at Fukuoka international airport, just show your confirmation and passport and you are ready to go! No problems with coverage in mostly Itoshima, streams with no problem. Always my go to when in Japan.

Wife and I were on a 9-day tour of Japan and chose to use the Japan Wireless pocket system to keep us connected. Our choice was an excellent decision as it worked perfectly rather on foot, in the tour bus or on the bullet or express train(s). Only recommendation is closely monitor the battery level and to keep the power pack included fully charged.

I reserved my pocket WiFi weeks in advance of my trip to Japan. The whole process was so easy! The website has great English translation, is easy to use, and allowed me to plan ahead for my trip. The pocket WiFi was ready for me in the airport when I arrived! It started up quickly and allowed me to be able to navigate Japan easily and without and problems. The data was seamless and really fast! They even lent me a battery pack in case the pocket WiFi battery ran out. I never had to use it, the WiFi lasted the whole day! Even in Okinawa! The return process is brilliant, too. Just put everything back into the included Post Office envelope, and drop it into a PO Box! Done! I will definitely use this service again the next time I am in Japan! If your phone is carrier locked and you can’t do the eSIM, I highly recommend using this service instead!! So happy that we choose for our 2 weeks trip in Japan, the Japan wireless. It arrived in our hotel and we return it easily at the airport. We had fast internet connection and the battery was enough for many hours. There was also a powerbank included in the package. So easy to use and we had all day in our bag. The price was ok for so many days.
