There are many eSim card option and after reviewing others, I decided to go with Japan Wireless due to value (price & length). Instructions were easy to follow and worked great when landing. My only concern was I calculated the days of service off by one day, but somehow, it was working on my last day in Japan, so I was really glad. I was in the Osaka region and it worked in Kobe, Nara, and Kyoto. As I was a visitor, my main use was for Google maps. Out of the 10/11 days I was there, I only used 5GB. The GPS worked overall well, but in the subway / rail, it wasn't as accurate. If I go back to Japan, I'll definitely use Japan Wireless for my wireless (eSim) needs.
Was very fast and worked very well.
Halfway through my trip and have had consistent 5G across all locations I’ve visited would highly reccomend
It worked quickly and easily installed. Always worried about that. Had solid coverage from Okinawa to Hokkaido
I needed a quick esim, and Japan Wireless was one of the first non-sponsored google results that I clicked on. I didn't have time to shop around, but what I got worked great and was just a few days over what I needed. Price was a little steep for 8 days of service, but I never didn't have a connection that worked to stream video or upload video or use maps or anything normal.
