We travelled 14 days around in Japan, also in the mountains, and we had everywere a very good connection! Value for money 😃
Ordered our e-sim the day before our flight to Japan and activated it at Narita Airport while waiting for immigration. Had no issues at all and was one of the least expensive plans we found. Did the 15day/10gb and still had 5gb left when. We flew out 2 weeks later. Used data mostly for Google maps and iMessage and had coverage throughout the country.
Price is very reasonable. Access and speed is good. This is my go to now for data access in Japan.
