It definitely is great to get an e-SIM when traveling to an international country like Japan. The e-SIM I got was the Unlimited for 16 days. Overall I felt it was great but when you are in the subways of Osaka Metro, it loses the connection. I was also capped on data for one night which made no sense because I was on the unlimited plan. The Hotspot sharing worked good on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra. The ONLY major issue I had was the instructions to set the e-SIM wasn't as cleat and easy as I thought. I had to ask a local Japanese customer service person (not affiliated) to help out and he gave clear guidance on what to do. Overall, I would get this again and recommend to family and friends.
Didn’t expect so easy and fast to set up. We used to use SIM card, and so complicated to connect. First time to use eSIM but so pleased to chose them!
