I bought it one week before the flight, printed out the Qr-Code. Connected in Japan with the Airport-Wifi, scanned the code and some minutes later data ran!! There is no monitor of used data, so I reseted my used data on the mobile. One week in Japan still runs well no connection problems so far and I don’t use the accommodation wifi. The price-performance is great! - out of 6 providers of which I made my research.
No compaints. It was easy to install and I had service where ever I went. In the countryside of Fujinomiya though I only received 4G but all in all very happy with the sim and it made life much easier whilst in Japan. On my previous visits to Japan I always used portable wifi so this was the first time with an eSim. It was nice not to have to remember to charge and carry an extra item with you at all times!
