I needed a quick esim, and Japan Wireless was one of the first non-sponsored google results that I clicked on. I didn't have time to shop around, but what I got worked great and was just a few days over what I needed. Price was a little steep for 8 days of service, but I never didn't have a connection that worked to stream video or upload video or use maps or anything normal.
Wifi was very fast. We just scanned our QR code when we landed in Japan and our wifi was set up instantly. No need to plug in an extra SIM. Definitely worth it.
