We purchased 3 eSIMs online. It was a great decision. Easy to activate. We saved about $80/line over a 12 day trip vs the AT&T. No WiFi dongle to worry about. Only downside was that it was data only. Which meant our SMS didn’t work for any kind of 2 factor authentication. (But it would work when I connected to WiFi) Reliable connection even at Tokyo Disneyland! I would use them again on our next trip.
