I had no problems with the internet during all my trip. It was nos blazing fast as Verizon 5G back at home but good enough for everything I needed.
I bought the 14 day package and it got activated as soon as I landed at the Haneda airport and it had 5G reception at all the major places, some remote locations it was catching 4G but still had good internet speeds. I'll definitely buy it again when I visit Japan next time.
