easy setupreliable connectionfast internetcustomer experiencewide coverageJapan Wireless eSim service is a reasonably priced solution to roaming in Japan. Their easy sign up was fast and near instantaneous to implement. Once you arrive in Japan, just scan the supplied QR code at home (print it prior to arriving) and boom! You are in the network. I didn't have to think about it again during our trip. Our iPhones worked normally. One thing to improve--we could only use the one cellular network at a time. Not both. My previous experience with a physical and eSim allowed me to use both my home country and JP networks at the same time. Now with two eSims installed, I was only allowed to use on network at a time.
Downloading the e sim on your phone instead of getting a pocket wifi. Makes travelling much bette.
I've been through remote areas in Kyushu and signal is good
The E Sim was great - relatively easy to install on my phone. Thankyou - I couldn't have survived Japan without it
we already rented a wifi box but needed a back up just in case we get separated while walking around and the esim made it easy to have connectivity all the time.
