This is a guide for Japan Wireless customers who want their pocket wifi to be sent to a private residence, either their own home or the home of a friend\/family member.<\/p>\n

Here we are going to explain the steps you should follow to make sure you get your device on time and without any issues.Kindly understand that the conditions we are going to explain below are to make sure that you receive your package safely.<\/p>\n

Delivery at your home or friend\u2019s house<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you plan to have your WiFi device delivered at your home or to your friend\u2019s house, make sure to provide accurate information to ensure successful delivery.<\/p>\n

Please first read and understand the following conditions:<\/p>\n

Full and exact address with apartment\/building name and room number is needed.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>All this information it is essential to be as specific as possible to avoid any confusion or miss-delivery. Please specify if it is a stand-alone house when there is no room number and any other necessary details.<\/p>\n

The receiver\u2019s name must be the resident of the address, and this name needs to be on the nameplate\/letterbox.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Make sure to provide your friend\u2019s name as it appears on their house sign, in kanji characters if possible. This will ensure that the delivery person can accurately identify your friend\u2019s house.<\/p>\n

The letterbox is safe and large enough to receive\/hold an A4<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(letter size envelope x 3-4cm thickness). Our delivery is by direct posing into the letterbox, without asking for a signature. This makes it easier since you don\u2019t need to be home to receive it from the driver. However, to avoid problems, please make sure that our envelope fits in your mailbox.<\/p>\n

Cases in which we do not accept shipments<\/h2>\n

At Japan Wireless we will try to make it easy for you to pick up your pocket wifi wherever it is convenient for you. However, we are sorry to informa that for safety reasons not all accommodations are suitable for package deliveries. Airbnb, shared houses, dorms with no staff, hotels with self-check-in terminals and guest houses with limited reception time may not be able to hold your package or accept deliveries on your behalf.<\/p>\n

In the worst case, the package could be picked up by someone else and never delivered to you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In case you are planning to stay in one of these accommodation options, please contact Japan Wireless Customer Service and they will help you with the best option for alternative pick-up location arrangements.<\/p>\n
